The story of the Carrousel Dance Ensemble began in 2012 in Latvia, where it became a guiding light for young talents, introducing them to the enchanting world of dance. From these beginnings, enriched with experience and a deep passion for the arts, the ensemble expanded its influence by opening its doors in Maastricht, Netherlands, in 2021.

Our philosophy is rooted in the preservation of character dance traditions and cultural heritage. We strive to convey the beauty and depth of dance, emphasizing the importance of maintaining national traditions in today’s world. 

We believe that success is achieved through collective effort, where each member of the ensemble contributes to the shared creative endeavour.
